Privacy Policy

Vela Studio is an internal design system tool operated by Vector Costa Rica. It is not a public consumer product.

What we collect

When you sign in with Authentik (Vector Costa Rica's single sign-on at id.vectorcr.com), we receive your:

• Email address — to verify you belong to the @vectorcr.com organization
• Name — for display in the application
• Subject identifier (sub) — to maintain your session

We request only the OpenID Connect openid, profile, and email scopes. We do not access any other data or services.

How we use it

Your Authentik profile data (email and name) is used solely to authenticate your session. Theme configurations you create are stored in our database and associated with your account.

Data storage

Session data is stored as an encrypted JWT cookie in your browser (vela_session, 7-day expiry, HttpOnly, Secure). Theme data is stored in a PostgreSQL database managed by Vector Costa Rica on private infrastructure.

Third parties

Vela Studio does not send your account email or name to third-party services. Theme packages you publish go to GitHub Packages under the Vector Costa Rica organization and contain design tokens only.

If you accept the cookie banner, the site loads Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager and sends page views. Declining leaves measurement off. That choice is stored in this browser under vela-studio-cookie-consent.

Data deletion

To delete your data, contact lvillalobos@vectorcr.com. Your themes and session data will be permanently removed.
